What
is Kidz Zone?
Sunday
morning Kidz Zone is our interactive Sunday morning club.
If you enjoy our mid week kidz groups or holiday club you
will love our Sunday morning group. Children will be able
to meet new friends, sing some of our most popular kids
songs (and of course learn the actions), play lots of great
games, and have a go at making all sorts of things- which
will look lovely on the back of the fridge or on the window
sill at home. There will be plenty of stories and
opportunities for children to learn more about Jesus in fun
and active ways. Other regular features include puppet
friends, quizzes and dramas.
Who
can come?
Kidz
Zone is for all children between 2 and 11 (no adults
allowed I’m afraid). No matter what your background, hair
colour, height, or taste in T.V shows, Kidz Zone wants you!
We believe all children are very important and value
everyone as an individual. If you have a disability or need
special help we will make every effort to meet your needs
and make sure you have as much fun as possible.
Do
Kidz split into groups?
Yes.
Although children do spend time together as one big group,
singing songs and playing some games, for much of the time
children split into groups according to their age. This
allows us to offer age appropriate activities and teaching
to all children in a safe and positive environment. It also
helps children build strong relationships with their peers
and group leaders.

Junior school children (aged 7-11)

Giving
At Kidz
Zone we feel it is important to encourage children to think
of others less fortunate than themselves. Every term we
pick a charity with the children, and encourage children to
bring a small amount of their pocket money to donate each
week.
Do
parents have to stay with their children?
No.
Although parents are welcome to join the main worship
service while their children are in Kidz Zone, they don’t
have to. Children need to be dropped off at 10:25am to be
registered by the Kidz Zone team. Parents are then welcome
to stay for the main worship service or go home. Children
need to be picked up at 12:15pm. Even if parents are in the
church service we ask you to make sure you pick up your
children on time.
